CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
VINYASA
This all-levels Vinyasa class is a dynamic and intelligently sequenced practice designed to challenge and support every practitioner—from beginners to advanced students. Moving with the breath, we move through postures (āsanas) with a focus on alignment, stability, and awareness, cultivating strength, flexibility, and presence.
Rooted in the authentic traditions of yoga, this class honors the lineage of the practice through the use of Sanskrit terminology, and integrates prānāyāma (breath control) to regulate energy and deepen the mind-body connection. The practice of bandhas (energetic locks) is woven into the instruction to support stability and the flow of prāṇa, while the use of drishti (focused gaze) encourages concentration and inner awareness throughout the sequence.
You’ll be guided through creative, mindful sequences that emphasize proper technique and alignment, with options and modifications offered to meet you exactly where you are. Foundational support is provided for newer students, while more experienced practitioners are invited to explore deeper expressions of each posture.
Expect thoughtful instruction, a strong emphasis on individual needs, and a space where discipline, compassion, and tradition coexist. Whether you're here to build strength, calm the mind, or deepen your understanding of yoga’s deeper layers, this class offers the tools to help you grow.
YIN
Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice designed to target the joints and deep connective tissues—including fascia—to help reduce stiffness, increase range of motion, and improve overall joint mobility. Suitable for all levels, this class offers long-held, passive postures (typically 3–5 minutes) that encourage the body to soften gradually, releasing tension without force.
With the support of props and mindful guidance, each student is invited to find a shape that works for their unique needs and structure. The practice includes gentle breathwork and mindfulness techniques to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system, creating a space for deep rest and inward reflection.
Yin Yoga is especially helpful for improving flexibility, supporting joint health, balancing more active practices, and offering a quiet space to reset physically and mentally.
ASHTANGA REMIX
A blend of the traditional standing sequence from Ashtanga Primary Series and fun arm balances, transitions, and backbends from Dharma style yoga.
Each class is all levels. Beginners are welcome! Must be 18 years of age to practice.
