Get Your Spark Back.

Personal freedom is liberation from your patterns ⛓️‍💥

Our subconscious remembers every single past experience and uses the memories to steer our behavior in the present. When you’ve been through hardship, your brain puts all your energy into making sure that doesn’t happen again and that you stay safe. Which is pretty amazing, and it’s how humans have managed to evolve this far.

But the problem comes when there is no threat, but our patterns of fear & anxiety take over anyway. Instead of safe, they keep us small. Repetitive fear based behavior had a choke hold on me for years. But a consistent yoga practice, including breath work and meditation, helped me get my spark back. Here's how:

🧠 Neurologists study the ways to make neural plastic changes in our brain patterns, and there are a few key 🔑 components:

-repetition

-emotional engagement

-trying new things

-focused awareness

And yoga? It’s got all four. Built into the practice is deeply mindful movement & breath, opportunity for new challenge in a safe environment, encouragement and support from community 💗 so your past doesn’t have to rule your life anymore…you get to be in the present again.

What we teach at Shanti Yoga Studio isn’t just for a work out. You'll get that part too, but it's bigger than just the physical benefit. We teach the practice from the inside out. It’s for getting your mental, emotional, AND PHYSICAL freedom back.

And starting today, you have not one but THREE new opportunities to get your practice in:

4:30 pm vinyasa with Virginia

every Tuesday!

6-7:15 pm ASHTANGA REMIX with Stephanie

every Tuesday!

Ashtanga is a set sequence, basically the queen of repetition. Come learn the foundational poses of the series, paired with a bit of the explorative & expansive poses from Vinyasa yoga that you already know and love.

10-11:15 am yin & vinyasa with Emily

every Sunday!

All levels welcome, always. Just gotta be willing to show up for yourself.
